The reason left/right is unmemorable today: the destinations are arbitrary. vNext gives the Deck a fixed spatial map — the same directions mean the same things forever, an edge-glow compass whispers the labels, and the tour teaches it once.
One mental model: left = audience (what the world sees — Signal), right = operator (Command, gated), down = conversation (Jarvis), up = pure display.
Touch anywhere → edges glow with destination labels for 1.5s. Non-admins see no right edge at all — the gesture is disabled, not just refused.
