The card owns the screen

Today the focused card renders at a fixed size inside a large empty stage, with a leftover launch-shelf artifact floating above it. vNext: the card scales fluidly to ~92% of the viewport at every size, the artifact is deleted, and lights-out becomes a true full-bleed poster mode.

TODAY — fixed-size card lost in empty space; orphan shelf above; launch is a mystery tooltip.

vNEXT — card scales to the frame; explicit LAUNCH pill with states (▸ launch → ◌ loading → ● live); voice pod is the biggest control on screen; A−/A+ scales fonts AND controls (chips, stack pager, buttons) together.

Launch, made legible

One persistent LAUNCH pill on every focused card replaces double-click-to-launch. Three visible states: ▸ LAUNCH (idle) → ◌ OPENING… (site loading, pill animates) → ● LIVE (site active; pill becomes the return handle). Double-click still works for muscle memory — the pill just makes it visible, teachable in the tour, and identical on phone/tablet.

Lights-out, finished

Chrome (tabs, filters, badges, QR) fades fully; the card grows to 100% full-bleed — a poster, not a smaller card in a dark room. The voice pod dims to 25% but stays touchable. Any tap brings chrome back. This becomes the screensaver feed's display mode too — one renderer, two uses.
